At The Bumbles Bath & Body Co, we believe this connection between music and our everyday moments isn't just powerful - it's personal.

Our Beginning

The Bumbles Bath & Body Co was born during lockdown 2020, when the world felt uncertain and many of us were finding new ways to cope with isolation and unprecedented times. For our family, music had always been our constant companion, our way of processing emotions and creating the right atmosphere for whatever we were doing.

Like many families, we've walked the path of mental health challenges. We understand what it's like when someone you love is struggling, when you're searching for anything that might help create a moment of peace or connection, and when small acts of care become essential.

During those long lockdown days, we started making bath bombs together - not as a business venture, but as something to do with our hands whilst our minds processed everything happening around us and no access to our regular therapy. Making them became meditative, almost therapeutic. But it was when we started naming them after songs that something magical happened.

The Music Connection

It started almost by accident. We'd be making a batch whilst listening to music, and the fragrance would remind us of a particular song, or the song would perfectly capture what we wanted the product to feel like. "Nine to Five" for when you need energy to tackle the day. "Good Night Sweetheart" for those evenings when you just want to wind down.

Then we realised something profound: every song tells a story, and every person has songs that hold special meaning for different moments in their lives. Music doesn't just entertain us - it validates our experiences, helps us process emotions, and connects us to memories and feelings in ways that nothing else can.

The QR Code Innovation

The idea of adding QR codes came from wanting to share that full experience. When you scan the code on your bath bomb, you're not just getting a song - you're being invited into whatever moment you need. Maybe it's a song that gets you hyped up for a night out, or one that helps you think through a problem, or one that takes you back to a perfect memory when life felt easier.

We've had customers tell us they bought "You're still the one" because it reminded them of their wedding day, others who chose bath bombs based on whether they wanted to feel energised or calm, and some who've said certain songs helped them through particularly difficult periods. Each person's connection is unique and personal.
